Monday 12-1 Gentle Yoga

A class for the beginner and for someone who has not practiced yoga for awhile. In this class you will learn about breath, alignment, posture and poses. This class will help you gently stretch and lengthen your muscles, open stiff joints and strengthen your entire body. Movements are slow, flowing and purposeful to help you open your joints and release stress. Yoga's benefits include: increased circulation, improvement of balance, lengthening and strengthening of muscles, and improved posture. Yoga also lowers blood pressure, reduces stress and relieves joint pain.

Monday 6:30-7:45 HOT Slow Flow

Moderate class using dynamic and restorative postures to build heat gradually. Each student encouraged to move at his or her own pace. Good for those wanting to explore internal focus and counter balance a 'go, go, go' lifestyle. Accompanied by fun up-beat music & a room heated to 80 - 85 degrees. Emphasis placed on full complete yoga breath.

Wednesday 6:30-7:45 Intro to Slow Flow 

Basic class exploring and refining the dynamic and restorative postures that create a slow flow practice. Good for those new to yoga or those looking to focus on presence and awareness.
Each student will be encouraged to move at his or her own pace. Emphasis placed on relaxed, conscious breathing as a way to move from one posture to the next.
